Looks like the old bumper is off a suburban to me. I had one on one of my old trucks, they wrap around the body a bit more like that one pictured on top.

Are you going to spray some of the Spanish Gold over the floors? I was told primer doesn't work well as a moisture barrier.
I was told that specifically in reference to automotive primers for the exterior. Probably not as big of a deal on the interior, but I was thinking if you're going to cover it with something it might be a good idea to paint over the primer. Otherwise the floor cover could hold moisture in and the primer wouldn't hold up. Although dynamat might be a good barrier.First I've heard that but I don't deal with rust much.
I bought some oil base black paint to lay down but I figured it wouldn't be worth the time if I covered it with dynomat later. The primer I used was some heavy duty oil based stuff in can that I used on another project years ago. I should probably look into that some more.
