There would be a truck I would not mod at all an 87 stepside

Thanks!Nice looking truck! Subscribing![]()
Build thread? This is a build I can relate to. I also have a little Stepside truck that things have been getting done to in stages. Although I never planned on a 454/400 swap, it just kinda happened one day. I also agree that installing something with the intentions of later replacing it is a fine way of doing things. Removing a good part just means another project vehicle can receive it.
Build thread?
Lol, not so sure it's inspiring. I started with a rusted out 500 dollar truck and things have changed a lot, but still suffers in the cosmetics department.

Cool. My story is similar. I started with a rusted out $1 truck and have done a bunch of work to get it back on the road.
What style of taillights do you have?
The tail lights are just some round trailer style lights I picked up cheap at the local hardware store, just because I thought they looked better than the big square stockers. I made mounts out of the stock brackets and relocated them a little lower.

That's fantastic
Love it! I might just have to do that. What kind of wood and where'd you get the kit from?
