Guess I'll just upload some more the long way and one post at a time. Going to take a while to get used to this new site...

Ok getting it figured out. Idk why but I can't just post the IMG link from pb like I used to. But if I click the little image button on here and past the direct link it works fine. Extra steps but oh well...

nice.... looks like you where able to keep the dust at a minimum...

Thanks Paul! There is a decent bit of dust in it. But I think a cut and buff will take care of a majority of it. Got a few runs in the clear but nothing too bad.

Shiny. I see now why you said the color will be redish more than brownish. Is this a different color than the '78 was? Or were they both just faded toward the brown end of the spectrum?

The 78 was russet brown. This color is red metallic. Compared to pics on the Internet of this color truck, it's spot on. But compared to the original paint under the masking tape, it's definitely a shade lighter and doesn't have as much purple Hugh to it. I really like this color and it's close enough to original to tell people it is the original color...

Ok. At first glance, they seemed to be the same, so I kept forgetting they are different. Don't think I'll have that problem now, the color does look different.
