Www.generalspringkc.com is a decent place too.
No donor frame. I'll just use this frame. I have done a 2wd to 4wd swap before so I know what I'm up against. And I will just buy a new set of Stock Springs. I forget where I was going to get them. I think SD truck Springs? Or something like that. I think they were around $300 a pair.

Just a quick ramble...
You know, there just isn't enough time and money for guys like us. For example, on this truck, what I really want is hydra boost brakes, d60 front with some kind of upgraded brakes, a late model disc brake rear end, a boxed frame, a late model vvt 6.0/6l90, this cool air conditioning idea I came up with, and a plethora of other crap that I want to do! Trouble is, even if money was no object (I'm sure the money side of things would climb to nearly $25k pretty quickly) I still wouldn't have all the time I would need to put it all to use unless I just didn't have a job! I know with time and dedication it can all become a reality but the other thing that I'm realizing as I get older is that time really goes by insanely fast! I used to consider a year a vast expanse of time. Now, a year is measured more like, well it's after 4th of July so Christmas is just around the corner! So while it eases the pain of a multi year build, it also makes it seem more daunting. Knowing that completion is five years away because you have 5 months of actual work to do...
Anyway, it just comes with any hobby like this which is money and labor intensive when you also have a normal life to live also. One always gets in the way of the other.
Rant off.
Thanks man! But for me, I'll just be better off with the 2wd frame. If I had a ton more space and more free time etc, I would be into the frame swap! Now, if the frame were attached to a set of one ton axles, that would be a different story! Then I could paint and plate the frame, go through the axles and have it all ready to go and just swap the body on! That I could go for!

I'm just hear for a sweet looking expo rig...
I don't care what's powering it![]()
