so does anyone have suggestions about moving my lower shock mount on my 14? I want to move them up where they won't drag on EVERYTHING but I think the top of the axle will give me too much angle. Not overly excited about moving the upper mount too far.

Just cut the stock mounts off, an reweld them level with the axle.
 
That's ^ what I was going to suggest. Then again, you don't have a box anymore, you could put them on top, and make some shock hoops.

I could but I am not. I have enough too do as it is.
 
it back. The front one is plenty long since I moved the axle back 1.5"

anyone know of any cheap ones? Just extend the stock ones?
 
And for all you haters, this is a rusty farm truck and I love the heck out of it.
 
I think it looks great :waytogo: as much as I can't wait to finish my K5, my K30 beater is a lot more "fun" to work on. Not concerned with being pretty, just want tough and functional :D

Bump stops.... lots of people are using the Timbrens which look sweet, I'm just lowering the stockers in the name of budget.

Did you thin your rear spring packs any ? Mine look to be the same as yours and just wondering how they work for you.

The rears are stock. looks like i need to look at them again since they look flat or reversed too in the pics.
