finally update

havent been workin on my truck the past few days. finally did some work with the rear. gettin ready for shackle flip, thats all i did. pics..

its been a while since i worked on the truck. got the shackle flip on, cutted out the rearend, took half ton rear end out. now shes sittin waitin for new u bolt to arrive then its 14bff time! cant wait. and cleaned up the rearend, then primed it..

alot done..

finally got alot done.. painted the rearend black this morning, cleaned up the springs n painted em.. got the 2.5 inch blocks from chas, and got the spring plate from trevor. thank guys! cleaned em up painted em black.. waited for them to dry and waiting for my dad but he never showed up so i went ahead and start moving stuff around and put the axle under the truck.. pain in the a** with out anyone helpin me move it. bolted em up.. angle seems too high so have to turn the blocks around..n see what happens, then went ahead and start working on the front, took the axle out. all in one day.

more updates.. i started working on the d44 front end, got the shocks and calipers off.. they were pain in the a** alot of rust! so had to use torch to heat up stuff and get them out.. whew didnt break nothing. then i moved on to get the stock steering arm off, heated up the bolts got em off.. screwed em back in to pound on it to try and get the V washer off got em loosed in less than 5 mins.. not bad, i went to take the bolt off, oh crap! i destroyed the studs but all 3 got out.. i just need a new studs.. where can i buy them? pics...

you can get new studs anywhere, ORD sells thems. Everyone might disagree but I would stick with the stock steering until you get a dana 60. you can always sell the stock stuff.

Are you getting new rotors? the ones you have look like crap.
