6" lift. 3/4 ton axles.
I'm guessing that if I don't run to the charcoal canister, I can just plug the fitting from the sending unit correct?

Think those factory tanks without a canister had a vent similar to an axle vent

I'm running the vent line up into the bed with a filter on it. Otherwise my tank was pressurizing like a mofo.

So vent not into the filler neck?
My filler tube has a spot about 3-4" down from the cap that the vent would go to, and the other goes to the canister

that's just for filling the tank, that's in place as usual.

I have to use the charcoal canister vent too, that's the one I was talking about.

Mines a stock cap, with charcoal canister. I have laid it on its side and it sat for days and it didn't leak.

Small update.
I’m about 1 full work day from having the fuel system ready for efi.
Unfortunately two weeks ago I had some health issues. And by that I mean I broke my ankle. Off my foot and in a boot til turn of the year which blows. This is where I need a local friend to do wrk for me while I sit and supervise.

Yeah I actually hung out for an hour after it happened and walked out and drove myself home.
I got a knee scooter for zoomin at work. Been using the electric scooters as stores. Just sucks when they’re out and I’m stuck on crutches. I’m too fat to that for too long.

You can’t run to the beer fridge you’ll start dropping weight

Able to put weight on my ankle now so I’m working on the truck. Got it turned around in the driveway and pulled the carb off.
What is the best way to clean the intake without pulling it? Just simple green and a brush? I’m not looking for show clean but I’d like it to be decent before I bolt on shiny parts.

Also bought a new tow rig.

Lastly any idea on the model of this holly carb? I gotta send it back to a buddy and I want to order him a rebuild kit for it.

Carb cleaner and a fine tooth wire brush. And elbows

Nice dodge

Not a huge fan of those little Holleys. But get it sealed up and tuned, they run ok. First choice for your application would be a double pumper. At that price you’re 3/4 $$ to fuel injection

Thanks
Yeah I’ve got a fitech sitting in the garage that I’m putting on. The carb was just something that was laying around to allow the truck to drive up onto the trailer.
