6" lift. 3/4 ton axles.
Got moved out of the old house and into the new.
The very last thing out the door was the BBC. forkin best right now. My garage looks like a tornado hit. Gotta spend some days cleaning and organizing so I can empty my storage unit.

Plus side is the truck drove over to the new house great. Downside is I never did get my handheld to work yet so I’m just assuming everything was great.

Nice. I've got a synergy 3" long arm with the minipacks and I love it. Jealous of the resi shocks too.

Immediate change for the better after install and I only have regular fox 2.0.

Oh heck yeah. My truck was beat on for the first 145k until I got it.
My rear shocks were both blown when I swapped them. It rides like a cream puff now.
Fallin in love with the truck all over again now.

Couple of things. I spent a few hours last night working on the engine. Got the smog pump off and in the trash as well as the mechanical fuel pump. It’s amazing how much room there is with a small block without that stupid smog pump. Got right to the fuel pump.

While I’m this far in I was thinking about replacing some wear parts like water pump and alternator. (Also thinking bout heads and a cam but that may be a pipe dream).

How do I tell what alternator I have. I didn’t see any part numbers I recognized. Is it worth changing? Last time I tested it it’s putting out 14v so shouldn’t be an issue unless there’s a good reason to change it.

Other than being dirty it’s probably fine
Says 55a on the case, typically a reasonably priced replacement
You can run that pulley type on a 90-100A alternator

Yeah I stuffed them in last night. When I pulled the heater hoses I got some coolant splashed up into one of the ports. So I stuffed em while I do this round of work.

I think I’m gonna leave that stuff alone for now and just work on getting it running.

Unless I find a stupid deal on some speed parts.

I might actually have to sleep on the couch. Which is Something I've never had to do in 9 years

We have an understanding. I don’t sleep on the couch. If she’s mad or I’m snoring. She can take her ass camping on the couch. I’m fine sleeping in the bed either way.
