Torching off frame rivets. Had some slag burn thru my shoe and sock and embed itself in my toe. A good start to the day

Got the drivers side flip done. 6" shackle an 56" springs. Gonna handle the passenger side tomoro.

I would take out the 2 leaves above the one with the rivet for the clamp.

Leaving 5 leaves plus the overload.

This is how i did mine and it is perfect, could even stand to be a little softer.

BEEFY! :waytogo:

They're pretty good for a street driven wheeler. Not the best for DD. And not the best for offroad. But a decent dual purpose setup. Just be ready to get some big spacers unless You aren't getting the beadlocks.

Got both sides done now.

Unfortunately it made my driveshaft a few inches too short. So I'll have to get that stretched here in the near future. Wouldn't be fun if it wasn't easy right

Can you guys check my shackle angle? I figure by the time I get the fuel tank back in the truck and a spare on the back it should be just about peachy

And after removing the stock plate I saw that beauty of a crack. Eeesh. Some time with a drill a welder and a flap disc and we are good to go

Got the mountingstraps done for the fans. Also got the old dizzy out and the new oil pressure sender in tonight. Hopefully I'll finish the dizzy up tomoro. Maybe get the electric water pump done if I get the hydroboost setup in this week.

Had a buddy come over with his beastly welder to help me put onthe ruffstuff spring pads and shock tabs. ( he also let me keep it for a while, millermatic 250. Ooooh daddy)

Anyway. Swapped out the old 3.73 stock 14 bolt. Put in my new disk braked, welded diff 14 bolt.

Had another buddy come up. He took the old axle to throw underhis suburban. But he brought me my new np241, and my new tube doors.
I'm gonna have to rework the latch on atleast one door Cuz it's not complete but other the than that a pretty good weekend.
