it's honestly sounding like the sending unit itself. with half a tank you should be between 40 and 50 Ohms

Yup. I wonder if I can get summit to warranty it since its barely been used for the past month even tho I bought it last year...

if it's been over a year they probably wont. But if it hasn't been a year start screaming until they do. Trust me I deal with them on a daily basis lol

Getting close to getting my new bumper put on. Saturday is going to be the day of spring installs. Going to use my spring hangers to make a b52 similar to the A -Bomb bumper idea.

Just need to trim a bit more frame and knock out 4 more rivets. I left them in til I drop the springs.

Nice! Ive got a gate to finish this weekend. Then, me and a buddy are gunna throw all the parts Ive got at my truck. Im gunna have to pick up some 2x6 when Im done! :waytogo:

Do you know if you trucks paint is original? My trucks factory sticker says "indian bronze metallic." ive always wanted to see it

nice! its pretty heavy so maybe 2x4 would be better if your worried about it. but i'm happy with them and ready to go bash them.

no clue. i believe it to have been repainted at one time, but i have no record. i'll see if there is any sticker on it somewhere.

Had my millwright buddy weld on my spring hangars. Don't want my front end coming off on the road.

My brand new bumper/ spring setup.

New ride height. Don't like it already. Too tall. Plus since it pushed the axle forward. My shaft is too short. As is my drag link. As is my shocks. Need to figure out how to mount my bilsteins.

What springs are those?
They're the lifted 52s that came on the rear of my truck. I was hoping I could stretch the shackle angle to make them fit but it's ridiculous.
Any plans to gusset the rear of the spring hangers where they extend beyond the bumper?

And yes. I'm waiting to see how everything goes together when I'm done and happy with the stance. And if I like ye shackle with them far enough forward. I'll trim most of the extra off an gusset what's left.

So got a call from a buddy. He's gonna deliver me a set of stock 2wd suburban springs tomoro. As well as a 205 for the doubler setup to happen. Will need to change the input and some other nonsense but I'll get to it later on.
