On the buggy brett had his dad mill out a small steel block for the oil cooler mount thing, to get rid of the factory piece. It is drilled and tapped on side for barbed npt fittings, and on top it is drilled and tapped for the oil pressure sending unit. It worked out pretty freeking cool!

Did you just put compression fittings on the stock lines and cut them down?

As of yet I'm not sure what Shawn created. I know it's a combination of the factory ls cooler lines going into a aftermarket cooler.

7 weeks until this truck is in Moab.:eek1:

So...you have a bid for towing it out there? :pimp:

J/K. You have made fine progress. Keep it up and I think things will work out just fine. :waytogo:

Kind of, the tow rig has a bent axle and needs tires.

Dont forget the front is ****ed too:D

Pshh, plenty of time,

All I have to do before we go is continue to run my business, finish your truck, start and finish the willys projects, fix the tow rig, build the new jimmys buggy for the arizona expo a week after BB, get the 65 a roller with the drivetrain, swap a tbi engine into a 75 blazer and go through the whole drivetrain, and now getting geared up to get started on body swapping a 59 step side onto an LBZ duramax.

Seems to me like we will be done a week early, load the bitch up and have a great trip:dunno:

Im off to go to Vegas to meet up with a vender, see you sunday!:thumb:

You really need a tv show shawn!

Would be fun but im pretty sure my wallet would get tired of me killing everything:dunno:

Just picked this up to get my wheeling fix aka beat things to death fix for 500.00, Ben we can go kill this thing for a half hour to blow some steam sunday!

It has awd and a v8, which is kind of a bummer considering it makes reverse J-turns and burn outs so much less spectacular :1zhelp:

Seems like we need a weekend long bash with a few people to get all of this done. The duramax drives pretty good for a blown out front.:haha:

I'm totally in for blowing that jeep up.:haha:

Tonight's progress consists of a complete trans cooler and a oil cooler. Was able to get my fan shroud and radiator figured out.

Also put back in my original steering column to ease the pain of converting a 91 tilt to accept my 82 wiring. Sealed up the rear steam port and installed the oil and trans dip sticks.

Ate some pizza and wings and assisted Shawn a little putting his 5.3l together for one of the various projects.

45 days!!!!

Easy money! You should have about a month of being able to drive it and work the bugs out before you head out! Lol

Ehhh :haha:

Need a quick answer, does the big block radiator get different mounts on the top? the ones I have don't seem to be wide enough and capture around the radiator. If someone could can you post the lmc part number if it is different, sorry at work and need to order parts.:eek1:

A true 454 big block radiator is like 34'' long and requires different hold downs and they are wider than a normal 350 radiator.. I did not see any part numbers on mine, without taken them off. The were bought at Dealership. Sorry not much help.

Seems no one has any for sells aftermarket. We have a local guy that has a ton of these odd ball stuff, might give him a call to see if he has them in stock but I can't pick them up until the 8th and I need them sooner.

If he can't ship maybe I can get the girlfriend to get them
