Good luck! The big thing I found that helped me solder wires together is setting a piece of metal under the wires to be soldered so that I could press down on the wires with the tip of the iron. The other thing I did to make things easier and in my mind better depending on location, was I crimped them first and then soldered them.
 
First I ordered a variety pack of sleeveless, seamless connectors off eBay. And then I used a set of household crimpers. Call me crazy but I just like the way they crimp.

I forgot what thread I saw it in, but use a mouse trap to hold the wires straight before soldering. Simple and effective
 
I have almost no electrical supply stores near me it sucks....


Anybody know what size the cab to frame bolts are asks the cs
ariage nuts are that hold the bed on?
