A friend and I will be putting it together, the valve body will be sent out here shortly. I'm towing the boat 134 miles May 10th and I will have road test miles on it before.
Should be pretty easy to accomplish this...

It's not a very big boat and I know it could do it...
Tick tock, two weekends left, my buddy who is building the trans seems to not want to answer his phone... ouch
Maybe you can burn out through at least 1-2 and then pray that the 2-3 doesn’t shift then break the case with the boat on back, but if it does you can toss up the sail and tow yourself back home.. just a thought
It has been known to burnout into 2nd and scratch 3rd occasionally.

My friend is swamped and busy as can be. Talked with a well known shop and they were going to do it, called back today to see if they had a 4l60e core I could use and drop my parts off today. Said we would have to look and I asked if he could, and wanted me to call back or leave my number and he said I'm not interested in building your tranny... Not what I was expecting from a good reputable shop.
Sounds like it will be 3 years in a row I'll miss this trip.

Happens every year this time... Come to find out the boat ramp is closed until the 24th.
Not sure if anyone knows but May 10th 3 years ago my dad passed away. I promised him his truck and boat would visit him and this is the 3rd year it hasn't happened. I'm not giving up yet, have a line on a new shop from Shawn that is good.
