Now lets see some progress.
As for the 4L60E, mine(4l65E) was built too, and I like how it is working so far. Time will only tell how well it holds up. I fill it should be fine, I asked for it to be built to hold up to a 6.2L and 500HP if I choose to make that change.

The builder on this said he had one behind a turbo ls2 without the shift kit and it held up fine. I sure hope he was telling the truth because I'm sure I will beat on this.

......now that I think about it, he does look a little like Don Knotts.

Okay guys, let's "nip it. Nip it in the bud." as Barney would say.

Some guys run the leaves backwards to make their wheel base a little longer sometimes. Just saying.

I got called "Andy Griffith" all the time growing up so I'm sure you've heard it all before. :doah:

How much did they cost u over all? Did you order them through ord or right through alcan?

Through ord, they have 12 inches of travel and capable of towing. I believe they were 512

I know right, I seriously have a path straight to my bed because the floor is covered in car parts.

Got all the 2wd stuff off besides the steering box. I'm hoping to drop of the brackets at the powdercoaters tomorrow. Friday should be the start of install day. :woot:

Well last weekend was a bust, no one had body bushings in stock around town so I didn't start mocking up the brackets for the leaf springs.

Got these in the mail today. This weekend is a 4 day weekend so I will get lots done.

Does anyone recommend putting any grease in these before install? No where in the instructions says so but I'm just thinking for maybe so they don't squeak.

I was alway told to use white lithium grease on poly bushings because it won't break them down.

Sounds like that is what I'm going to do then, thanks guys.

I wonder if a grease zerk could be drilled...

Well, change of plans for this weekend... Just sold the engine and trans. :pimp:

My memory is at a blank right now... With the hood removed, I can pull then engine and trans out as one correct?

~EDIT~

Sense I got to remove the front sheet metal anyway, I might as well just do that first then pull it out as one unit.

Get ready for a epic 4 day wrench a thon weekend. :eek1:

I have a question about pulling the engine and trans..

Do I have to take the accessories off the front of the engine or can I bolt around it. I have one of those load levelers.

Anybody have any tips?
