Got my ball joints, they seem to be Carquest brand with Moog stamped. I would assume they are knock off Moogs. One of them came with some odd parts, think I got the wrong ones... I'll post pics in a few mins my phone is charging.

Ok, all is good seems I got the correct stuff..
Now onto the heim joints. The bolt is a 3/4 and ruffstuff doesn't sell a kit with 4 7/8x3/4 joints only 2 and the other 2 are 7/8x7/8
Do I drill out the arms or just see If I can get 4 7/8x3/4?

Message them and I bet they'll get you fixed up. I got my 7/8 x 3/4 heims for steering on the new rig from them.
Me to, the heat got to me today and not enough hydrating.
Norby, I actually only need 3 but was thinking about keeping the 4th for a spare. Going to use a TRE on the pitman arm end, unless ORD can make a setup that is as tall or shorter then a TRE with the high clearance pitman arm they sell.

It would be nice to have all the same style ends if you can. I ordered his "hydro steering arms for the ram" kit since the kit was cheaper than individual components then just messaged him and requested all RH ends to minimize spares. Was no problem.
I forgot about the LH RH thread, wonder If I can request the same thing.

Ordered the cross over, once it's here it's on like donkey kong.

Cross over came in today, got a few questions....
How much thread should I have showing on the heims for alignment? The heims have a total of 2 inches of thread, I was thinking about leaving half inch of thread past the stop nut for the tierod and drag link.
The heims would look like this.
Hoping to get this done Wednesday and hopefully start mocking up the hoops.

Are you running your cross over from steering box to tie rod hole on knuckle with double heim joint then the tie rod knuckle hole to the other knuckle?
For the drag link it will be pitman arm to passenger knuckle, for the tie rod it will be in the factory location on the passenger side to the drivers knuckle.

So the drag link will attach to the steering arm that will be on top of the passenger side knuckle or what? We need a diagram dang it!
Sounds like typical cross over. But using heims not tie rod ends.

I guess I'm picturing one of those double shear setups or whatever they are with the heims.
