Wouldn't balance right at all and the shield for the CAT got in the way, I may need to trim it?

I built a cool little stand that sits on that jack. The TC bolts to the stand. works really nice.I am old and don't like to lift anything.
But Ben would need to learn to weld.
I could weld it, but it wouldn't stick.

Oh yeah. I usually separate them too. I was just wondering. It will probably go in around the cat.
It will be close, I might just pry it out of the way and shove it up.
Got to messing with it today, the new motor mounts and the final shackles could be here Friday. Is it me or does the engine need to go back some?

Ok I got my caster wrong. It needs to be 6 degrees positive and I'm currently 15 degrees negative. So I need to bring it around 21 degrees.

Won't say anything. Except, you can't check caster without the truck at curb weight and sitting on its tires front and rear.

Wade, what If I was to put the springs at ride height and find the angle? ORD said the springs have 6 up and 6 down. So If I set the springs in the middle, would that be a way to find my caster and ride height?
You have positive caster now. So you just need to be less positive, and I mean that in the mathematical sense. You likely have the same problem I did which is why I dropped my front hangers 3".
Negative caster would mean your top pivot point is further forward than the bottom pivot. In case I'm not understanding the perspective of the photo correctly.
I don't think your idea would work because you need to know the ride height before you know where to measure the 6" from. What lift height do you have? I have 4" ORD springs, maybe I could measure the distance of spring eye to eye at ride height and you could use that. Assuming you have 4" springs also.

Ok, I think I just had a random freak out. 
Looking at that high steer arm the left is up higher then the right. Which comes to 15 degrees.
I went off of this picture to determine if it was negative or positive.
They are stock length stock center pin location 4 inch lift springs. If you could a measurement would be pleased.

I'll try and get one tomorrow. By "try" I mean try to remember. And by "one" I mean a measurement. 
If your springs can end up being flatter, that will help with your caster angle. Also your rear suspension height will affect your caster angle.

Going to a link suspension would certainly not make figuring out all of the alignment angles easier than it is now. But you would have more adaptability. When I start seeing all the calcs that have to go into a properly set up link suspension, it makes my head swim.

They both have faults and positives, just depends on which way you want to go. Funny thing is we both did ours opposite of each other, but both had that OHHHHH CRAP face.

Stop over engineering everything. Yes it is an issue, but until the truck is put together and on the ground, you are guessing how much angle needs to be removed.
Still going back and forth on the radius arms or leafs.
Pros and cons of everything. In the long run the radius arms would be way better and when the hoops get made I'm half way to a linked setup. With what I have I think I could sell and be a few hundred short away.
