Shudder will be felt typically going into lock up, do you have the signal wire run right for lockup? If I recall you need to use a late model brake light switch, or do like I did the last time I needed to and accomplish the same thing with a relay. I want to say ecu needs to see ground with brakes applied

I don't have it hooked up right now to the brake switch, that is on the list.

It had never been hooked up and has worked fine. if I needed to drop OD I would shift it. But it has only been on flat ground...

Could try grouding it when it's vibrating and acting up. Atleast eliminates it as a variable

Is it only when sitting still in gear or is when driving?

If it's only doing it while sitting still, I'd lean more towards an engine running problem.

Maybe a small miss or a vacuum leak. Make sure the air intake is all in place and tight and the MAF is pointed the correct way.

Not been my experience. While load can make a bad idle worse. There are always symptoms at idle.

Ls motors are extremely ground sensitive, though typically a ground problem will have a whole
Mess of issues with components that share that circuit. If it didn't do this with any other transmission, trans is where I would start, I've had torque converters do some funny things, I've looked through what Shopkey info I can to make sure the tcc signal doesn't tell the computer anything more than brake on deactivate lock up solenoid. It's pretty vague so I'll keep looking just cause, good info to have.

I invisioned this pic a few weeks ago.

Been reading the GM service manual, one of the tips they have is re indexing the converter to the flywheel, might try that it is easy enough.

Really hoping this works out for ya! This build has kept me going! Haven't got much done but it motivated me to clean my mess up so I could get something done.

Rotated it and still the same crap, guess ill warranty the converter. It rotates freely off the flex plate.
You probably don't wanna hear this, but i would change the trans oil.

If pump cooties didn't get cleared of the converter from last time, they're in pan now.

Unfortunately when i ran automatics, I became very diligent about going through converters whenever I heard a trans issue, for reasons like this

love/ hate relationship with autos
I'm always scared for mine, but wouldn't want to deal with a manual

When the pump was replaced last week the converter was warrantied. I think with my luck the converter is bad. I might drain the pan and add 5 quarts I have laying around.
