NP208 will be in my hands in about a week, hopefully it works out good. Anyone know if I can bolt the np241 tail onto the 208 for a vss?

Well poop, there went the easy way! I believe I have a vss cable speedo adapter floating around somewhere.

You'll still need a "speedometer recalibration" box in there too I think. Whatever comes out of the cable to electric adapter deal isn't going to be exactly 40 pulses/rev like the 241 was (the number of pulses the adapter will put out depend on the adapter and which two gears are in the 208).

What's exactly wrong with your 241.

This is a terrible direction this otherwise nice build is going. The 208 is like lipstick on a pig.

I probably can dig up the 241 pieces for you and mail them one by one if I have to to avoid this disaster.

Mostly just needs a chain, pump and a oil pickup tube.

You can't get ahold of those parts?

If your serious I can get them to you and probably have a bunch of that crap laying around that's in definitely usable shape.

I can, just will be around 350+ new including a rebuild kit. Figured if I put all new parts in might as well do bearings.

I didn't say sell it for a grand. Ask $30 over what you paid, a steal at that price
