For those of you that have used a Terminator X kit, do you have to run the vaccum line to the ECU for a non boosted app? I would rather use the stock map sensor.

No, you can do either, you can plug in a MAP sensor to the harness and tell the computer which one you are using, the connector is there. You may need an adaptor depending on which MAP you have.

I believe I saved you some in your wallet too had you bought the same elsewhere...

Just make sure you select the correct MAP sensor in the drop down in the setup.

One more question, what is the deal with the alternator connector?

If I'm understanding this correctly it needs a 12v ignition wire to excite the alternator to charge the battery? Learning all kinds of new things that I don't think most have to deal with.

They don't supply an exciter wire for the alternator, I'm guessing because different alternators need different voltage (i.e. a Corvette alternator needs something different than a truck one, there are probably generational differences, etc.).

This is a cheap and easy fix for the truck alternator:

Ordered the new alternator harness.

Next thing I need to figure out is gauges and dash, really wish someone would buy these autometers.

Fuel rail is in with Injectors, 90% of the harness is hooked up and today I bought the 7 inch holley touch screen that centers in the wheel. To the left will be a touch panel for lights and accessories.

So I bought some fancy hood pins, I don't want to use the factory latch anymore. anybody know if you can remove the hood bumpers on the core support and run them in that location?

I still utilize the bumpers. That's the the hood pins are holding pressure against.

Good point, I will have to go through your build to see where you mounted them.

After looking at the link, I wonder if the cushion built into the pin would be able to act as the factory bumper.
