Are you getting a speed reading in the display for vehicle speed?
Yes but it's pulling off the GPS speed, I can't seem to get it to go off of the vss. Does the handheld have a option to view the vss?Are you getting a speed reading in the display for vehicle speed?
I tried to datalog with the pro dash but it wasn't able to play back gave me a error.I believe it does but I haven't specifically tried that. I would be diagnosing using the data at this point. You should be able to see what gear its in, vehicle speed, trans temp, everything. If you can't see some of it you know where to look. I wouldn't want to use the GPS speed long term anyway, it won't work under trees or tunnels, etc. It will work well to compare tire speed to ground speed though! ha ha
At work, trying to plan when I get home to quickly make educated attempts.Try that yet?
My lunch consists of how fast I can scarf something down and get back to work. I should be getting out of here in about a hour and a half.Take lunch

I have had a trans tune before and honestly I liked it better stock with of course torque management off cause race truck.Be interesting to see - I'd bet there's some calibration to be done there.
Did you read the post about the 4L60e I posted?I have had a trans tune before and honestly I liked it better stock with of course torque management off cause race truck.
Speaking of that, the front left likes to lift a lot more with the new cam in.
I did a quick skim on it and will read it now. Just not sure how some of it will transfer to the Holley ECUDid you read the post about the 4L60e I posted?
Yes, reverse and 2nd gear, it is in limp mode. You only have 2nd? Does reverse work?
Sounds like you may be in limp mode.
My trans has a complete parts list from Sonnax, the only thing modified in the ECU is tire size and gear ratio from Holley. It’s probably on there somewhere
My point was that you want to observe the shift pressures and timingsYes, reverse and 2nd gear, it is in limp mode.

I'm willing to bet sense it was my first weather pack connector I didn't get a contact of one of the pins. It passed a visibility test though.
I see, I need to figure out how to get the data log working to do that. Two things I want to try after work is setting the speedo to pull from the vss and flip the main connector around. My point was that you want to observe the shift pressures and timings
Limp mode is usually lack of a 12v signal to the transmission, my vote is something electrical - some issue with the plug to the transmission. Do you have the old tranny plug to compare pins? I suppose you could google a pic and compare.Yes, reverse and 2nd gear, it is in limp mode.
I'd find this hard to believe also, if it worked fine before the terminator, I would think base tune has to be close if not exactly stock for the transmission. What gets me is if the shift pressure and timings are off then I can't believe the Holley base tune would be that far off that one wouldn't work right out of the box.
You almost made sense in that second paragraph
I typed it fast and didn't proof read and reading it again I agree.
