Yup, some people don’t believe me and others said I would never finish it and it belonged in a junkyard because I ruined it.I always forget this truck started life as a C10

Sadly it was here just not public. No one here said that and we're all that counts!
Nope never will be done until I’m dead.It still not finished, doubt it ever will be, but has spans of functionality that equal or longer then the down time.
Wife asks me every time is done ? Project is finished but it is not done.
if I want a bigger engine it will either get a big ls or big block. That’s plenty for this truck and what it’s meant for.I see effective gas coverage, indications of good heat input (so hopefully the penetration you were looking for), and a very decent bead profile. Not bad for "can't!"It took a long time because I can’t tig weld.
The welds on the cross member were my buddy's, mine were the "ones" below it. For never holding a torch or turning a machine on it was interesting and very fun.I see effective gas coverage, indications of good heat input (so hopefully the penetration you were looking for), and a very decent bead profile. I really wish I had more friends to do this with.I think that is a good idea, get the little things knocked out, stiffen the frame up and go for an adventure!
80k friends is not enough?I really wish I had more friends to do this with.

Me too, it’s been a long time sense I have seen it like that. Bonus is you don’t see to many of the light blue.I am a fan of the light blue.
