1983 K10, Shannons truck. ***UPDATE POST #418***

I dont have those fancy things. That would have been nice though.

A few weeks ago, I was helping out a friend and wound up needing such. So I bought a cheap set of 5 left-handed extractors. Total cost came to about $2.50. For the whole set. Surely you could have afforded such fanciness. :whistling:

You probably could have justified springing for the higher quality non-disposable set of 5. That would have run you a whole $15.

I will never use an EZ out. They are the worst tool ever.

Ok, I really dont care any more. Bolts are out, lets stop padding this thread, id like it to not turn into my build thread. Go there for talky things since its already destroyed lol.

As you wish.

(that means CHECK YOUR BUILD THREAD :pimp:)

Made some cool brushed SS brackets at work today.

Then I of course proceeded to add dimples. Thought they were pretty cool for a trans cooler mount setup.

I also re-routed all the hard lines and shortened them up and cleaned them up. Should be able to clear the shroud now, and they arent right next to the fan.

The old cooler was pretty much junk. The one nipple was even busted most of the way off.

Nice work!
With any luck it won't fight you again burping the cooling system when you get the radiator back in.
And I have found several trucks with the same height radiator and clamp style. I think that A/C made a difference.

Yeah, non AC trucks usually got the shorter radiator, but isn't her truck an AC truck?

Her truck is a cluster fock of like 4 different vehicles. The cab was originally a 6.2 diesel.

I have a Suburban like that... But it is still a 6.2 diesel. :pimp: :thumb:

I'll take the diesel fuel gauge if you ever redo the dash. :)

Aside from that, what makes a cab a diesel cab? :dunno:

I doubt anyone has an all original truck anymore. If they do they are the only owner.
