1983 K5 trail truck/dd/ R.I.P. 03/14/18

Idk why, but this made me laugh alot lol!
In that second pic it looks like you have it parked under an overpass or something. What's up with that? Do you live under a bridge? Are you a troll? :haha:

And imo 8 is unnecesary for sand. Sure you get much better traction, but then you can have any donut fun! In short... DONUTS ERRR FUN!:woot:

They are the original spicer hubs they just haven't been locked for months and months and are stuck inside. Once I figure out an air source I'm airing down every time I play in the sand.

Somebody gave me a scuba tank a while back. It will hold enough air to fill up all 4 tires back off unless I blow a bead. Now I just have to go get it filled up....

Another option would be one of those York compressors that you use a belt on the engine to drive. Of course then you'll want to mount an air tank. Not a big deal I don't think.

One of my hubs got stuck in the lock position a couple of days ago. Never had that happen before...

I'm sure mine just have a bit of rust in them, I think I'm going to get a 20lb Co2 tank, I've heard you can get quite a few tires filled off that set up

You can. If you can get in good with someone at the local paint ball store he can fill it up for you pretty cheap. Maybe you could find a used Power Tank on Craig's List. It would still be pretty $$$$ though.

16.5's are fine until you get under 10 psi. That is when the danger of popping a bead becomes real.

Martin loves orange!!!

Looks good!!! I like the square tuning. I might do that sometime.

I love orange, and I hate camo, so yeah, that was a HUGE improvement in my eyes.

Martin

Doesn't matter the flavor, I hate camo.

Martin

Oddly, I'd considered some variation on high-vis ("safety", "day-glo") camo before I settled on the Smurf tones :haha:

Also zebra stripes, but I think they'd look better on a Series Land Rover, like out of the Gods Must Be Crazy or Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, that sort of thing.

So I sold my old warn/belleview to a buddy and figured I would give an engo winch a shot.
I ordered up an engo e12000 on saturday and it came in today. I got it ordered from profender for $399 with free shipping.
