I made some more room in the factory x- member to clear the front drive shaft.
Even dressed it up some.
I need to get it into an exhaust shop soon and go from duals to a single muffler and exit on the drivers side.
I also put some junk yard Ford 57 inch springs in the rear. I have an anti wrap bar waiting to go in after I get the exhaust re routed.

New exhaust happened today, need to do some header wrap on the cross over pipe but it should give me enough room to get the anti wrap bar on.

Started with this stuff, and ended up with a traction bar. Definitely a must have with the 57" springs. It drives much better, launches flat and doesn't unload the pinion when I shift now.
Cool build, never realized there is another truck that looks soo similar to mine.
Finally put the Detroit back in today. Yay traction!
I got a deal on a new steering box, then put the hydro assist stuff I bought 4 years ago to use.
Holy crap I don't know why I waited so long! It steers so smooth and controlled now.
I finished it up Friday night, and Saturday hit the highway to go camping and play in the woods for the weekend.
