So lets rock an up date here. The move to Wyoming has put a serious crimp in my ability to work. No garage up here and a tiny house.
Well the back end of the he jimmy had finally had enough vibrating really bad. It was time to put in the 6 lug semifloat. You hat meant driving the jimmy to Rexburg Idaho to my buddies farm shop. Trying to get everything done in a weekend. Well that didnt work out to well.
Now the story is long and typical more parts were bad than thought. Got distracted by an off road trip in which all but one rig broke so 4 hours turned into 9. Oh and somehow the gears for the sf got moved to Afton and I forgot them

. What a mess as far as accomplishments.
My friend has a couple extra cars so the jimmy stayed and I rocked back home in a plain white wrapper. Late 90s dodge caravan. Ugh what an awful but much appreciated vehicle.
This weekend comes I am raring to go. Get down there and just as last weekend thing starting going wrong. That rear axle was hammered discovered bad ball joints on the front. I have a buddy that was price matching rock auto for me though.
Well got gears done the back axle is literally completely rebuilt brakes gears bearings everything.
The front is the same except for brakes but they need do too.
So first drive death wobble bad not sure what it is but worried its my tires. That won't be good. One of them has developed cracks that were not there when I bought em. Just gonna have to deal for now. Cant expect every set of 200 dollar tires to be good
