How’s the front coming along. You done yet?
Haha, I have only had my front links since the 8th. I have the brackets all burned onto the axle, and a plan of attack - little different since I have to think about hydro ram/mount clearances. I have just started looking at frame placement (hence my questions).

Sweet! What’s your plan for that body mount?
If that's the final resting place for the link mount, I will leave the body mount exactly where it is, weld the link mount to it, and weld the body mount to the frame also for extra support.

In case your upper link comes in contact with it, i saw this somewhere on the internet and saved it to my phone. I thought the idea was pretty clean.

I’ve seen some guys cut the mount off too and make their own body mount with tube.

I have seen this one somewhere before too! I'm far too lazy to remove the mount and fancy it up like that - I like your style better, cut it out of the way. Cage is tied into the frame anyways, body mounts at this point are barely doing anything.

I think that might be David's @AgDieseler body mount on his burban. Although, it's not tig welded so it might not be.....:rotfl:
