1990 K5 Build ( Ol' Blue ) : Rocker rust...

p.s I'm tempted to just brake clean the little dark dirty spot on my axle and tell him i changed it since it isn't really leaking anyway... and even then I'm almost 100% positive i have venting issues even though all my tests tell me i don't.. because it only leaks when the diff gets hot.

He knows i did all the work so far on the truck myself and actually was very surprised when he crawled under it, so i think i can get away with it. If i can find a driveway in town to use i should just change it though...

You looked pimp in your buddies wedding photos. Thinking if you hang in the high rent district in a sharp grey tux, you can troll a sugar mama!

:rotfl: haha, Yea my brothers wedding was a fun time for sure! I wouldn't be hooking in the burger king drive threw thats for sure.. but yea a sugar mamma would be ideal. Hmmm craigs list here i come! hopefully she's old enough and rich enough that i don't need to do much maintenance if you know what i mean :1zhelp:

They're called a sugar mama cuz ya gotta take your lumps...

I did some quick math and depending on the level of wealthiness, it could be my highest paying job ever.:thumb:

Yea thats going to be the plan. Might put some fresh gasket maker around the diff just to be sure.

went out wheeling this past weekend and had some fun on some old service roads from the early 1900's that have become loose trails. Met up with a guy who brought me out to a bunch of old mines that are still open, one goes down a good 6-7 hundred feet. Found a few burnt YOTAS, and a bunch of toxic dump sites where they used to use cyanide or something similar when they would separate copper from the other metals in the mountains back in the early 1900's. The last time these sites were used was in 1909. Pretty cool seeing all this old abandoned stuff. I didn't get any photos of much as i was honestly too interested to take photos. I did grab a couple though of random stuff. Definitely going to get a dash cam next time or remember to bring my go pro. Only thing that bugged me was the Tcase kept wiggling out of 4HI into 2HI and its not like it would pop but its as if the linkage isn't set right so I'm going to try and tackle that because it was annoying as hell when i was in 4HI and then id be going along and notice the trails getting tougher... only to be in 2HI. There was some pretty challenging stuff on this trip which was nice, i like pushing myself as I'm still learning the sport. I wish i could be outside of my truck watching it go through some of these obstacles though... oh well.. insurance Inspection is for Tuesday at noon!

I'd say his chronology is a bit messed up. I recognize the bullseye in that pic...

Rene is correct, the pictures were from the weekend before (august 28) and the wind shield was replaced the monday after the wheeling pictures.

She passed the out of province inspection this morning! doesn't seem like a big deal but it is to me because i know so many people who have had to replace a ton of stuff, and i didn't. its also nice hearing a mechanic tell you that you did a great job on the truck.

He's not there yet, he had to stop and pick up your Mom...

:flipoff7:

I wish.... My brothers wedding killed my moab fund!

His brother owes him a Moab trip. It's the only fair thing really...

That's your brothers fault!

Couldnt agree with you more.. If i was there i wouldnt be hunting down a door to replace the one that my friend just ****ed up. Although... Moab would be just as damaging but 5 times the fun!
