1990 K5 Build ( Ol' Blue ) : Rocker rust...

Couldnt agree with you more.. If i was there i wouldnt be hunting down a door to replace the one that my friend just ****ed up. Although... Moab would be just as damaging but 5 times the fun!

Nice...after all that work!

Yea... I know.. After a long talk with rene today i think we figured out a game plan on the phone on what the best route would be

Salvage the door, and weld in new pieces from lmc/donor doors and then paint the doors black

Do your front fenders too, and hood. and roof, and bedsides and tailgate...

Door is still feyucked up but she has plates now! Didnt spend a cent getting it out of provinced besides the leaky windshield.

So thanks to the neighbor,i should be getting a new hood. The mini hoe operator swung his bucket into my hood..

Barely missed ripping the fender off and if it wasnt for the cowl i think it would have swung into the windshield

What a fricken idiot having the bucket anywhere near a vehicle...pics?

trying to get them off my phone... photos are too big to upload via phone

I met a guy in my air brake course that will want the hood, so hopefully i can just give it to him for one of his squares

Go through insurance, protect yourself. Having the r-tard avoid dealing with the insurance company is a bad idea. It never ends well...remember his primary goal isn't to have your truck fixed right, it's to save himself as much money as possible. Go to ICBC today.

ICBC claim filed today. Couldn't get his Drivers license number outta him because he had left but with his name, number, company name and equipment rental number / Unit number of the machine, i had enough information.

Right!?

Man, in the time my truck missed MOAB, my door got ****ed and now this. It woulda been better off down there

the guy tried to explain how there is some free play in the controls and blah blah blah...i let him finish his bullshit reasoning, before i let him know i am a RED seal crane operator... he shut up super quick..

Even if you're the best operator in the world, why are you getting the iron so close to someones car anyways? If the hydraulics are sloppy/sketchy it's the same question in ALL CAPS!
