1998 2wd to 4wd, CCLB SAS

Sweet, would like to see that. Love the old square body's. First truck was a '79 step side, still have it billing it into my rock crawler/trail rig.

Yours would get better mileage then mine though lol I would have to tow a gas station along with me lol sure do love this truck though. The big block is the only thing I would change, and that's only for mileage reasons.
That is one thing I love about my truck. I used to own an 8.1 and I loved it. I loved the power and how it towed, but I couldn't afford to daily drive it. This 6.5 gets 16-18 in town depending on how I drive it, and 20-21 on highway. I daily this 6.5 a lot, and I love it.

Now if I could just get a decent ride from the front springs...

How are your front spings holding up/ride quality?

Front springs are great. The dual shocks fixed the too soft issue it had. Rides pretty close to how it was stock, maybe a bit rougher but not much. Do want some adjustable shocks at some point but not high on the list at the moment, real happy with the ride. Biggest thing I still want to work on is the turning radius, have gotten used to it but still don't like it lol

You had 2" lift springs right? What brand where they?

Rough country ez ride, 2 inch lift. 52 inch springs. They are actually for the rear of a square body I just pulled the overload out of them.

Are you running out of steering at the box or at the knuckle?

At the box. Need a longer pitman arm or shorter steering arm.

You have anymore pics of how you did the ABS setup on those d60 hubs? I'd be interested in seeing more of that.

Good looking truck for sure. I just picked up a 93 3/4 ton Burban that I'm going to sas...going to be similar height to yours and @GWeakland620

I just cut the tone rings into the hub. Can buy them to if your hubs don't have them they were just expensive so I decided to machine them myself. I haven't mounted the sensors yet but last I looked at it I just need to make some simple brackets to mount them.

Been doing great. About to get the project finished up to finally. Got my transfer case just need to build an adapter and mount the shifter. Ordering the axles, carrier, lockouts and pinion yoke hopefully tonight. Then just need to find gears, get u joints for the axles and set everything up. Can't wait to have 4 wheel again.
