Well said as usual Steve. But I'm stuck in the middle. I like my diesel and I like big blocks. I've owned both and they are both great. I think the best end goal is to just have one of each lol.
Very true. In fact, I would love to have a early to mid-2000's duramax. They are great motors, and the Allison is a great tranny, however their costs are so inflated I'm not gonna do it now. Maybe one day if they come down, or I found a complete steal for one, I'd buy it, then in that case I would have a BBC and Diesel tow rig
.I will say, my brother is contemplating selling me his current semi after he's done building his new semi. Then I would have a modern BBC swapped square body, and a Medium Duty diesel semi to tow with...that would be pretty neat
