I wouldn't dick with it. In 5 years when it becomes an issue spend the couple hundred bucks and replace it. Or put in a duramax
Forever. I have no intentions of ever selling this. Even if a new tow rig is purchased, this would still hang around. How many years/miles are you planning on having this truck? It should take a number of years for that system to deteriorate.
If/when the 6.5 ever pops, I am very torn if I should replace with a very well built 6.5 or go for the Duramax swap. Either way it would stay with a GM power plant.I wouldn't dick with it. In 5 years when it becomes an issue spend the couple hundred bucks and replace it. Or put in a duramax
Maybe. There is absolutely no reason to build a 6.5. You could put in a lbz with a tune and do more than a built 6.5 for less money.
I'll bet good money that it does. Our brine coats the undersides and sticks to everything. I'd be glad to go back to just salt again. Or our unpaved gravel roads that didn't get any form of ice treatment.

Must be a mental thing every plane movie I ever saw right before they did something awesome they clicked some over head switches. You guys know what I'm talking about

I've got a blank panel for mine that will house the air compressor switch and roof rack light switches.Squirrel...
Just ordered in an overhead console from a Tahoe. Going to mount it up and throw a couple gauges where the rear ac controls would be.
Exactly. Perfect place for auxiliary functions!I've got a blank panel for mine that will house the air compressor switch and roof rack light switches.
