2000 GMT400 CREW CAB SFA SWAP-The Warden: Fuel leak fixed and awaiting surgery…

The ultimate goal for this truck is tow duty/family camping trips/small offroad adventures.
The trick is the number of pulses and type of sensor. Is it Hall effect or just plain old mag pickup. I’m full aware of how speed sensors work, I have the joy of working on them more than I’d like

I was just trying to give Greg a pep talk. Motivation! :thumb:

Just got one of these at work on fri. Nicest one I've seen yet. Anodized aluminum body. One hand to light it(most have a dumb button you gotta hold with one hand while lighting with the other). It stays on automatically also. Can't say how the durability is since I just got it.

@GWeakland620 ...just to go on the record. I hate your K3500. I've had mine since early 2000ish, it's been lifted with an RCD lift since 08 or so. Drives well, been a great tow vehicle (it's amazing where I have gotten it with a trailer to rescue my old K5) and a good dd every time the significant other totals her dd. Only bitch is the front axle would look much better 2" forward & it will get a SAS someday. Again, I blame you and a few others here.

Seriously though, great truck.

I knew you'd say something lol.

I pulled off one of the front ones, and removed 2 quarter sized spots of paint. So I'm a little nervous to do the rest.

that sucks, I've never had that happen but it's been several years since I've removed that style molding.

When I've pulled them off they've always left a layer of tape stuck to the paint.
I used a plastic door panel tool for the other side and actually got that one to pull of pretty clean, so I may use that method for the big ones when I finally work the courage up...
