The ultimate goal for this truck is tow duty/family camping trips/small offroad adventures.

So this thing decided it didn’t need 4th/OD today on the way back from church camp hauling the trailer full of camping gear. So guess it’s a good enough reason to start the 4x4 swap.
Need to fix the water pump on my Harley truck before I completely renter this immobile, but the swap will be happening directly after that. So keep posted for real tech posts.

Yes actually, springy ones.
Haven't pulled the trigger yet, but I am working on the details with Bill at Alcan for my spring details (front/rear weight distribution, overall weight, intended use, ride height). Should be on order within a week or so.

Essentially I am ordering them. Just trying to make sure all the specifics are ironed out before I send them the monies.

But, I would like to have new springs in and drive it to enjoy it before I tear it down for the 4x4 swap.
Does it still drive enjoyably? I was thinking it was grounded until further notice.
It's usable. But my family doesn't like riding in it due to how rough it is. I have learned to overlook it and enjoy the truck, but that doesn't matter much when my family doesn't want to ride with me.
It does however ride pretty good with a load of weight in the bed, but that's not how it should work lol.

I'm not faulting the spring rate adjustment, just thinking that form follows function.
P.S. - after riding in the Burb all week, it will be quite hard to step back into the much stiffer ArmyTruck. Very different ride quality.
