Look at it as learning a lesson. Remember it's the small details that make the difference between a job done right and a job done wrong. Take everyones advice and change the pins before driving the truck.
Now you know when you do the front, have all the little parts ready too, Even if you don't think you are going to use them, it saves time and then you won't have any reason not to do the job right!
Anyway congratulations on doing a job yourself and not pay someone else to do it, or just buying another truck instead.

Don't be lazy, it can be changed with hand tools. You've done it before, now do it again! The fact that you've had half a dozen people tell you it's not right & it's a safety issue, then you still took it out for a "long drive", are still planning on driving it around, and being smug about it all just makes me sick!
It's like bolting one of those 38"s on with one lug nut and driving it around... It's an accident waiting to happen! If someone crashed into me & my family because they half-assed their suspension (AND THEY KNEW BETTER!), they'd have to lock me up to keep from killing 'em (not to mention they'd be paying me for the rest of their life).
