Is the pedal squishy or is the truck just not stopping?
Do you have 4 wheel discs? If so did you replace your proportioning valve to accomodate them?My brakes still suck after a new 1 ton master. I took out the ride height brake adjuster also. All my dads trucks with 14 bolts have insane rear brakes and mine don't do anything. They haven't even worn the hatching of the new rotors yet.
I've bleed them a lot also

too, probably should do this upgrade when I install the rear discs.Subscribed

I got my porportioning valve from inline tubes for about $90. Just tell em you have a 4 wheel disc brake set-up and they'll know exactly what you are talking about. Good dudes there. Very helpful and answered all my questions.Yeah I have 4 wheel disc.
I didn't do anything with the proportioning valve. I'll try by passing it and using the adjustable prop. valve.
I must have missed that part the first time reading through
Thanks
Did you use rubber brake lines or the braided ones? I used rubber lines for the rear of mine and it caused a squishy pedal cuz they balooned when pressure was applied. Went to braided and problem went awayI never touched my proportioning valve after my brake swap. It doesn't affect the front brakes, just the back, and it wouldn't affect a squishy pedal anyway.
Just had to say again how much I love my brakes after putting this MS on my Blazer. I got in my dads bone stock 89' Jimmy to run to the store the other day and about freaked when I hit the brakes. I thought the brakes had gone out because the pedal went down alot farther than what I'm used to on my Blazer.

Yeah, but get it from www.rockauto.com. Since they have an interactive online catalog I can't post straight to the MS, but just do a parts search for "102754". They have it new for $72 with a $25 core. Cheapest I've seen. I'll sing their praises all day long. I've gotten quite a few things from them for all my vehicles.
PS: You will have to swap your resevoir from your old MS over. These have a huge one that won't fit under the hood. Trust me it has to be easier to swap it before you bench bleed your MS. =)
