'69 Blazer Build

Hope mine turns out that slick!!!:bow::bow: You can tell from the pic at the left I've got a long way to go!!

NICE! That is slick. That just got me thinkin:thinking:. Crap I'm I going to have to tear mine apart that much to paint, think it's gona be Sleeper Style for a while. Man I wish I could get my fenders/hood/doors to line up like that.

Bill, that paint looks really nice on the rig. It must feel great to finally get the body done.:waytogo::bow::waytogo:

I'm signing up a house build in Red Bluff this month, maybe we can figure out a meet?

I would like to see a 1st gen that is not completely dismantled some time in the near future, and I know it won't be mine. :haha:

IGOR - The color is lighter than stock. There is a blazer on the 67-72 site that had the color I was going for. He called it electric blue I believe. I think I came pretty darn close to it.

Mike - We definitely need to get togother some time, but this week is bad. I am working sun up to sun down. Seeing it painted has restored new life in me to get it done quickly. Doing all that rust repair can bring a man down and think that the end will never come.

Thanks for the compliments

Looks good bud.:waytogo:

I can't remember, did you do anything with the firewall to fit the BB?

Thanks Mike, Yeah I had to cut out a section of the firewall near the driver side valvecovers where it protrudes outward and reweld it matching the existing curve. I also moved the engine forward a couple inches.

That engine bay looks ENORMOUS with no accessories/inner fenders in there!!! BTW, congrats on shiny new paint. I can't wait till I'm there.
