Yeah I’ve got the original wheels at the farm, still got the original smooth bias ply spare to boot even :D

Dropped the trans pan, was surprisingly clean aside from what I do believe was the original tar like oil. Fired a wix filter in and about 5L of fresh atf, everything still shifts as it should. The oil is still not very clean looking, I think I’ll run it a while and maybe drop a cooler line one day and run new
oil into it till it comes out the cooler line.

Thought it was the pinion seal leaking, appears it’s more or less the pinion housing leaking. Might just take the easy way out and re-seal it and not bother with the pinion seal.

I got a brand new spare tire holder like the one you got on there. You can have it!
Anything else the 77 needs? I`m cleaning up in my shed.

I see a factory sway bar. Cool!

Got any grill emblems? Mine has grown legs over the years apparently :doah:@max 02

Can’t say I need another glide a way spare tire holder either though :haha:

We are planning on heading to the mountains for a week or so mid July. Figured Midas well see if the old girl has it in er @GWeakland620

454 nope! Dave gave me the the one I got on Ratbag.

I might be a nice guy and come up with a Bow tie.
I’ll get you covered for your dad! :waytogo:

Cool Beans

Had a few spare minutes tonight, pulled the return line off the trans cooler and ran it till clean fluid came out.

One another note, I happen to have a pair of 6” kc’s sitting in the shed. Not sure if I should put them on the push bar or not? What y’all think?

Guess that answers that than.

Dad wired running lights on a separate switch, so it’ll run high/low beam with the lights on. It is better, but still junk as far as headlights go.

Do the KC’s .

You can convert the old school KC’s to LED ( with a kit from KC or the you can do it home brew ) it makes a huge difference in power consumption and light output. But they still have that old school look.

My buddy was telling me that the other day actually. Might have to look into it.

Wired and mounted the daylighters tonight, they were on my k20 originally. Still had the wiring harness as well, made wiring em a bit easier.

Put the 350ci grill emblem that I’ve had on the shelf for years from @max 02 for kicks as well.
