looks like the PO kept this well greased. ordered up some stuff from Greg over at www.4wdfactory.com to finish the rebuild on the kingpins. Greg was awesome to deal with & is highly recommended. but anyway, hopefully i'll have it steering on its own by Sunday.
am i losing momentum?? anyway, couldn't get the steering on this weekend, took some time for the family. went to the beach, drank some Dos XX, and flipped my four wheeler.
but tore into it again today. cleaned up the "c's", knuckles, and caliper brackets...i also repainted my shackles and front x-member silver. just too much black, it looked kinda yucky. had the shackles machined to 7 1/4". got my rebuild kit in from 4wd Factory. & painted everything else up. hopefully tomorrow, i can get around to painting the axle shafts & start on getting the 60 back together.
so shiny shiny shiny
and get two new studs as they became victims to breakage today.
i just want to swing this damn thing back into place.
hopefully i get the rock rings welded on & put everything back in place this week.
Not sure what more I can say!
