Well I guess I'll be the one telling you then.I'm a long ways from needing mufflers. My build in over in 69-72 K-5. Right now I'm stalled out on rust repair.

Yeah, sometimes quiet mufflers are just the right choice! My new modified doors (cut down to match the bed rail height) don't even have window glass in them....

How is the thickness compared to the original?2016.03.17 - UPDATE!!! - HEAVY METAL DAY!!!
Wow... A solid performance from GMCPauls and KeyParts.
I placed an order a couple of days ago, for a reproduction part and was a bit chaffed about the shipping charges that they assessed. Felt like they were gouging me pretty bad, but I needed the part so I just opened up the wallet and bit my tongue.
Well today I got a call that the shipment had already arrived!

At first I thought it was a joke when the forklift pulled this thing out of the freight truck... no way a box that big was for me.
After a bit of unwrapping, things started to make more sense...

They had built a massive wooden crate to protect my shipment and then loaded boxes on both sides to make sure that no other crates in the truck could get anywhere near it! It must have taken me about 20 minutes to cut all the banding off and get everything unloaded, but it was SO worth the trouble:

This is the new full-reproduction Blazer floor made by Woodall Industries. It's not only the stamped floor, but also includes all the cross sills and other body mount bracketry as well. It looks REALLY nice, and even when fully unpacked it was still around 150Lbs.
It wasn't an easy assignment to get it onto the roof of my truck with only one good arm, but I guess the adrenaline of fresh sheetmetal helped me to fight through the discomfort.

Drove immediately up to the house and got it all unloaded and safely put away before the rain clouds rolled in this afternoon. Perfect timing.
Can't wait to get started on this one!

I have NEVER seen something so well crated and protected. I don't know how many sheet metal pieces I have had to reject from poor packaging and reckless freight truck drivers.

Are you going to replace the floor under the roll cage mounts?
I'm wondering because if I remember correct you had Kert machine you some custom plates to fit into the flutes of the floor in the bed area.
Now I wonder if those plates will still align with the new floor flutes, or will they go in the tuition pile...?
