Is that the correct height for your tank (31 gallon correct?)?
Have you seen what @K85 Octane did? Added a Walbro 255 to an existing OE pump/sending unit. It already has a fitting on the feed and return which is pretty sweet.

I haven't seen that. I'll take a look. The 381 is just the pump that goes onto the fuel sender, which ill order the the 31 gallon tank.

Started working on the 14 bolt again while I wait for other stuff. One of the races is in but does the other look like it needs to be beat all the way in or is it flush to the unit itself?
Haven't had a 14b apart, but every bearing I've done it should go in until it's seated. That seat is machined.

I bought all the parts you listed with exception of the pump, for that I picked up the AC Delco EP381 from a 97 Vortec Tahoe.
If something doesn't work I'm blaming you

yep, I ordered a TBI sender. I dunno if Eric has his sender yet, I remember he had a tank....probably from white girl before he sent her off to the pasture.

I got all the brake line stuff, fittings, water neck, thermostat and a 140a alternator!

I think me just scored a free battery cage thingy. You know the one that keeps the battery bolted down. I plan on having two batteries in the bed at some point.

I've been putting off drilling upside down for the crossmember holes. Finally got everything dialed in last night to do it. Hopefully it won't be too awful.
Also painted my alternator brackets and cleaned the inside of the truck some more last night. Almost all the crap is out of it so I can do a final clean and rattle can it at some point. More importantly starting the cage needs to happen.
The list constantly grows and shortens only for brief stints.

It wraps all the way around the cab lol.
For each thing i could probably write 20 more things but i try to stick to basics. I get a feel good feeling when i cross something off.
If i could just get the crossmember bolted in and tcase on this week then im done with the drivetrain for a short bit. Im doing a lot of different things at 1 time because im missing some pieces to the puzzle but forward progress is still progress.
Face shield, gloves and long sleeves....get after it.
I was trying to be nice, but yeah.
