Use a floor jack to apply a little pressure on the drill motor. Makes it easier....
Dude, you're overthinking this. Grab a drill and start making holes appear. Your plight is not nearly as dire as you make it out to be.

meh ill do it today. my drill doesnt like me much. batteries die kinda quickly but itll happen, with its weak 3/8s ass.
ah, well you're handicapped then. Nothing better than a good 1/2" corded drill for this kind of stuff.

Im hoping in a couple weeks itll be ready to start. I may need to use a few sick days to make this thing go faster.
Ive pretty much pulled the trigger on all the accesories so now its just getting those items mounted, belts on and fill in all the missing pieces like the pressure line for steering and what not.
If it looks like i have what i need for doing the brakelines ill take a day off and try to knock those out. All the parts i need should be here by friday so itll be a busy weekend.

Is this the xj shaft everyone uses? Looks like 97 and up will work...i should snag this.

Looks like this crush sleeve eliminator will be fun to set up. It appears it may take a few tries to shim it right...great. I think if i measure the old crush sleeve that should get me a ballpark number.
If you're coming up here on Saturday hit the pick and pull in Rocklin right down the street from Ruffstuff. Row52 says there is a 89, 90, 92 and 96 to chose from. I think I paid $30 for mine there....

Well I got lots of parts in tonight. Tried to bolt the alternator on and no dice. Bottom bracket works fine but the top is a mess. I bent, beat, filed the bracket. It fits now but im not happy with it at all.
