I still don't have Mutt's LED ones working yet either...

Made some more progress today getting some highly unethical parts off this thing. Smog canister went bye bye and so did the egr. I need to either make or find a cheap blockoff plate. Took the stupid cruise control off also.

lol, my EGR was left in place but when I installed the intake, I used gaskets that don't have EGR cut out lol. Also, I may have welded the holes inside the intake for the EGR "leak". 
You are still going to want a canister, really. Just find an older one with less nipples. Gas tank inlet, outlet to carb. It's really not a bad idea.

Hahaha I just tried to buy an egr block off plate on summit it and they wont ship it due to it being an illegal in my state. So much for being the land of the free. I hate this state often. Im still amazed we can buy big tires.

I still have it. I dont want it back in that truck through. Not unless I absolutely need it but itll never be hooked to the carb again.
Summit complains a lot about smog stuff but they still send me stuff. Are you sure it's not just warning you?
The canister can just be vented to air also. Just consider it as a vent for the gas tank that in the case of a tip over, it wont leak.

really though, Summit will send that part. Even if you listed your vehicle as a 75 or older it would still complain
they'll send the parts, just a warning will pop up as mentioned.

So my motor mounts look like theyve seen better days...any recommendations?
Energy suspension factory style poly have good reviews.
I decided to go with Kert's competition poly mounts.

Side note...I destroyed a poly mount on my crossmember. it had less than 20 miles on it...defective yeah? Theres nothing near it to make it fail...just tore it.
if you where running a poly trans, and rubber motors, that's why... vice versa would have been ok, but never trans without motors..
