Chop out rockers. Weld in 2x4 or 2x6 3/16 wall rectangular tube.

How high up you go is dependant on the doors. How much you want to mod those.

Once again all cutting and welding. Which I believe you just did. Which means your fully capable. Annnnnd GO

Youre right. Im just worried im going to bite off more than I can chew. Its really important that I get this truck on the trail in june. I have sliders nearly ready to put on...maybe ill halfass patch the floor, run sliders this season then boatside next winter?

At the same time I feel like the hardest part of boatsiding would be cutting the cab. Everything after that is out in the open and easy to get to...

I wish I could find a solid how to. Ive been searching a bit but havent found anything.

Grab some self tapping screws and some old street signs, easy fix.

You have more important things to address like a running truck with axles under it :thumb:

Yes I agree. I think I'll just run it how it is until I'm ready to boats idea next winter. The rubicon didn't hurt my rockers at all plus I'll have the 1 inch body lift...

I'm trying to figure out my spring hangers for the 52s. Theres no directions of course...

Am I using the forward most 2 bolt holes and boring a new hole in the frame? I'm using 6 inch shackles so I'm sure I need to move up some, question is how much?

B52 brackets right? I can post some pics of mine with the 6" shackle.

this is how I had mine setup but I later moved the spring to the forward most hole.

The brackets could have also been moved to the more forward position on the frame as well......

Yeah I have the b52s but I also got the fush deals from diy as well. It looks like everyone mounts them upstream from the stock bushing location but no one says where that location is...

Why mount them anywhere else but the OE location with 52's? Unless your trying to move the whole spring forward? I have the FUSH on my bench and I was planning on just boring out the OE shackle spring eye hole in the frame.

That's what I'm confused about. I see people with them forward of stock. I was under the impression that with 6 inch shackles you'll hit the body mount?

I'd like to see the front spring hanger on that setup. If you push the front hanger forward I could see that working.

I haven't hit the body mount with my shackles.

Ok good to know then. If it hits I'll just clearance it lol. Maybe that move forward is for people who don't have or use an ez inch?

Doesn't ORD instruct you to use the stock location with their FUSH kit?

Not sure. I got the diy4x ones but I guess it was the shackle length that made me assume it should be forward.

Working on the bodylift right now. Literally watching paint dry lol. Also hand fitting my driver side shackle flip. Phucken thing didn't line up worth a damn for some reason. Opened the holes up to 9/16...nope still doesn't line up on the bottom.

Went to homo dumpot to get some grinding bits...don't have em. Apparently no one does metal work anymore. So I'm hand filing the holes in a bit more to fit the bolts.

I did however find some long ass bolts for the cab. I was going to get grade 8 then realized it's going into shitmetal so grade 5s will do.

couple of the holes on my frame were off a little bit but not that much.

and that's the nice part about the ORD 1" kit, comes with all those body bolts.

Yeah I bought the individual pucks. The kit seemed a bit rich.

One thing I don't get about this poly mount in the back of the cab is that it has no way of remaining concentric?

I have a feeling I have it right but what's to keep the bottom mount from swinging around? Seems goofy. Maybe I need a washer on top and bottom of the lower mount?

There is a little slop in the mounts, I used a washer between the bolt head and the rubber bushing as pictured.

Interesting. Maybe ill put another washer on top of the poly mount pictured. Just seems a little sketchy. The old style was a steel tube that came out of the rubber mount.

I'm trying to remember if they had sleeves, I want to say some did. What brand body mounts are those?

Ord. Aka energy suspension. I'm looking at the directions right now and they want me to take the old sleeve and cut it down.

Now I'm ****ing pissed. This is supposed to be a everything included kit not a "use your old ****ed up shit to make this stuff work kit".
