Anyway, so when you gonna fire this pig?

The bushings fall into the fame mounts IIRC. The bushings should be ordered for your frame, not your body. I run an older frame, with an 84 cab so I run the older 79 down mounts.

Right, my mounts have that interface into the b52s. the bolt is all over the place though since there's nothing to keeps its alignment in the bushing. I have the 1 inch lift puck which helps but it's not like the rear of the cab where there's a support down the middle of the bushing.

I'm gonna have to make something.

Yeah I'm not sure but mine are like that.

Interesting. I feel like the bolt has no way of using its strength if it's not captured in the bushing. remember the rear of the cab mount? they had a metal bushing of sorts that provided rigidity to the poly mount but also sort of constricted the bolt hole so it wasn't a hotdog down a hallway.

I'm thinking I'll make something. There's an 8th inch in that stupid bushing plate...I could get that back if I made something. maybe I'm over analyzing.

No, you can keep the credit for it, I'll just keep my front clip on my truck.

Yes, you are over analyzing. But you also have access to some pretty sweet machining tools, so I wouldn't discourage you from using them. :thumb:
