Driveshafts look good but your front end alignment is way off, even the wheelbase looks wrong...
Lol, yeah been putting off painting the calipers, bolting in the brakelines and getting a proper rolling chassis while I contemplate the cost of tub repair
Did you buy a dual exhaust kit?
I bought brand new dual exhaust bolted to the the stock manifolds for it right before the head gasket blew about 5 yrs back. I just had a muffler shop do it
Okay cool, i was hoping it was built for the truck, I've put on 2 hooker dual kits on my last k5 and wasn't happy with how low it hung behind the truck. I would imagine it would be hard to do mock up with no tub.
Yeah, mine were bolted to the body which is what the muffler shops like to do. I imagine I will have to get creative to hang it off the frame
I hadn't ever witnessed a muffler shop putting hangers on the body. Odd to me.
And you will probably find some clean ways to do it once you get it in there.
Now, what about paint on that 203!!
I might have just gone to the wrong muffler shop. I thought about painting the 203 but I thought everybody would laugh at me. kind of like that line from the old-timer in the movie Christine. "you can't polish a turd"
With all of the work that you have done already, I think that it would be natural to paint the T-case. But I personally would paint it black.

Bolted up the old Camaro engine this weekend to help hang the exhaust and I thought it would be good practice for when I install the crate. I mainly practiced my profanity. Things I learned: 1 when you're pretty sure the torque converter is all the way back, it's not. 2 even though you theoretically have a 50-50 chance of getting the motor mounts right, if you guess, it's wrong 100% of the time. 3 if you're reaching for the sledgehammer, you've done something wrong.

Got the exhaust hung and parking brake stuff in. Minor progress and there were some delays because I had to replace a few sections of shop roof after the hurricane awhile back. The drivers side already had brackets on the frame so I just used the old hardware. Had to make one hanger for passenger side and appreciate @RoccoK5 for posting his so I could copy
now i can't put the body off any longer and i've decided to media blast/sand it myself to save time and money. then its on to the bodyshop for rust repair while i finish a few piddly things on the chassis. i wish i would have started on a plan for the tub sooner.

No matter how small a task is, I try to spend at least an hour a day on it.
Looks like yo are at 5he point where you can make a list of all the little things, put it on a clipboard in the garage & mark them off as you do them. I started that list on my 69 a couple of months ago

I use one of the kids old chalkboards I have hanging in the shop for that. I try to do something on it every day even if it's just watching videos and ordering parts. Sandblasting needs a bigger block of time because you want to make it worth your while if you're gonna get sand everywhere. Today I'm getting everything out of the shop so I can get the body out and a support frame built so I can get under it a little
