Is there a thread of half doors? summer is coming up and was thinking it would be a good time to start looking into making some. Anyone have a link to a good thread or advise?

Moved!

update, My girlfriend and I moved to a new apartment and have been working on getting situated with this, As well as starting college again. Here is the blazer in our parking spot. Good thing is the complex is gated and were in a pretty good part of town.

We took the blazer out with some friends on valentines day

we had a blast, just a local OHV area

We also found out the added a new rock pit to the area which was a sweet find!

I have a ton of pictures

I think i would like to shave the diff a little or buy the TMR shave kit. I always seem to find it on the rocks

Thanks DIY4X for all the badass parts too!

Amanda even drove for a little bit and did a few hill climbs

Poser pic

more

Getting into it a little

Maybe my favorite picture of the truck

friends dog

and heading home

the truck worked great!
this coming up we have a wheelers for the wounded poker run so that should be pretty fun.

Rig looks good and even better on the rocks :D

Just don't assume the gate and nice area of town will keep the rig safe. Install a hidden kill switch and you may want to look at a removable steering wheel for those pricks just hooking a strap off towing our rigs off. I moved my trailer and put my truck back on the side of the house, lots of rigs going missing in the valley.

Yeah, Thanks for sharing. -20 below with wind chill this morning. I can't wait for t-shirt weather and topless:waytogo:
I couldn't imagine being that cold of a temp! We need some snow though!

Save the doors. Do tube doors instead. Hen you can change back to full doors for the snow.
I've got an extra set of doors so I can keep the full ones. they are actually the pre 75 doors that dont have a full frame.

Dang so many lights! I only used 14 total and its like daylight! I can't imagine 60..:haha::haha:
Ya, it is quite a bit excessive, did you use the same little ones i have? they seem to work great so far.

Thanks, we need to go wheeling! good advice, I will look into that but really trying to find a shop to rent to store it in.

Sick build! A friend and i want to check out that whole high lakes area sometime. Looks like some good wheelin!

Just let me know when you want to come up, it would be a blast to wheel with some more chevy guys! I've got extra room for people to crash at.

A simple kill switch on the ignition is really all you need. At least pull the coil wire as a short term solution.

And spring may be here sooner than we expect. I'm planning on doing a Rubicon run if you're interested.

:sign17: I just got some pictures of Tahoe this weekend and it looks like patches of snow. Im looking to tag along when you guys go! As for security i think a kill switch is agreat way to go. id forget its there and wonder why it isnt starting so im going with the removable wheel and a locking toolbox to throw it in.

we don't have any snow on the property at Lake level.

I'd like to get a few rigs together for a run :waytogo: Maybe late May or early June?

yeah i think if your 1 ton swapped its pretty minimal parts needed. maybe u joints, studs and a driveshaft? im thinking ill have a front and rear shaft just in case. It would be beneficial to get a chevy run together since we all run similar stuff.

That would be awesome to do a Rubicon run! I haven't been either but I have a few Toyota friends that have done it.

So i have a buddy who wants to do a rubicon run the weekend before memorial day. I think it would be better to go before the holiday weekend so there aren't so many broken jeeps in the way.

Does that work for you guys? i should be ready!
