That's hack.
Agreed. That's the one GOOD habit I picked up working at Goodyear for 6 years. I religiously torque my lugnuts by hand.

That's hack.

The end result was worth it:

44" boggers????

, someday maybe I'll hack it up for a solid axle swap???
some cheap craigslist tires...A set of Mastercraft coursers A/T...should be good for the 2500 w/ 4wd and my usage requirements...I really like the Duratracs and they have 28K on them and are about 1/2 worn, so I wanted to save them for the CC.
They were about 850 to get them on the 99, so I didn't want to have to do that again for a low mileage use truck. The mastercrafts were less than 5000mi on them, the guy wanted a more agressive tire for plowing and winter traction...I got the 4 of them for 350 on the truck.
I am glad I only have put 1600 miles this year. Saving 1000 bucks a year in tires is nice.
And those mastercrafts I have on the plow truck. They work surprisingly well in the snow., someday maybe I'll hack it up for a solid axle swap???

He's talking about the 2500Dont ever hack that truck up. Its way too nice for that.
Looks great with those tires on too.
No I mean the 99....my big plan is to get Bart as a reliable tow vehicle, then get rid of the 99, then get something more economical for a DD...right now I spend about 400$ a month in fuel between all my vehicles, I'd like to chop that in half...a 25 mpg DD should help achieve that. So how are those Chevy Equinox anyway?
Bart gets about 10
the 99 6.0 gets 11.5
the HD gets about 45
the Vette gets...well who cares?
I would be buying used...just wondered how good they are...looking at something about that size though.Well is 25 plus g's cheap?
Looks real good. Asked my friend about the center caps, he said he might have an old set, he would look and let me know. I will check with him this weekend if I remember.
Customer vehicles, I torque the wheels with a torque wrench. My own junk? Gun every wheel I own tight with the impact. I have never had a problem. I am not saying to quit torquing your own with a torque wrench though.

Nice, yeah my dunlops are close to 70%, well all but one tire.I am glad I only have put 1600 miles this year. Saving 1000 bucks a year in tires is nice.
And those mastercrafts I have on the plow truck. They work surprisingly well in the snow.
Thats frickin insane. were ya driving 50000 miles a year?
Ya could go yota
and get a rav like mine
30 mpg, AWD, and I love the ride (best ride I've had in any vehicle for awhile).
