I want 16's for this, but others want 16.5's...the one's I have are going to Kert.

$150 for a set of 16.5" steel wheels??? Are people actually paying that much??? I have given anywhere from zero to ten dollars a piece for factory steel wheels. Any more seems silly.

I knew you traded or sold yours, just thought others had interest in them in this thread. I cant find any 16" double safety bead 8 lug factory wheels it seems anymore. Id also like a set of cucv 15x8 dog dish steelies. Stock steel wheels seem to be drying up.

Kansas, there's a guy on the Louisville, KY Craigslist who parts out CUCV's. Let me know if you see anything interesting.

Well, I am a bit far for you, but if anyone closer wants any or wants to pay shipping, I have some factory 16" dually wheels.
Some in chrome, although could use some TLC and some in white.
I also have 4 aluminum WELD.

Most guys that are looking for 16.5 wheels want to run surplus hummer tires.

I'm aware of that. I have 16.5" wheels on my 1982 K30, my 1988 V10 Suburban, and will have them on my 1985 K5 Blazer here shortly. I have over 20 16.5" wheels. They go for nothing around here. I have been given a few sets, and have given several away.

well good for you

They're getting harder to find, these trucks are getting older, scrap prices are high. all that more have combined to make it harder to find Complete Matching sets of stock wheels. especially dually wheels and even more so for the tubless 16.5's

Well if someone wants a set, I have a dually I need to scrap out. I assume they are 16.5's, but they might be 16's. I have no use for them, so I never checked.

Thanks I really dig driving this truck. rides really good, and gas mileage is only about 1.5 mpg less than my 99 6.0l. And it really gets some looks in my area of the country....as mentioned before, these old 70's trucks, especially in this good of shape just aren't around MI anymore.

The 99 gets between 11.5 and 12.0 everyday...about 13.5 hwy ~75mph
The 76 gets about 10.0 everyday, and 9.3 hwy ~75mph.

My everyday driving, over the course of a week, consists of at least 10-10 mi. trips to work and back, maybe a little running around in town driving. And usually a 30mi. round trip on country roads. I usually do about 50mph on the country roads.
Warm ups amount to about 2-4 minutes, which on the 76 means on the choke (high idle).

Maybe out your way soon dave. Been chatting with my friend in three rivers. He thinks he found me a 47' gooseneck trailer. Blazer bash here I come with two rigs!!!

Hey Jess, wasn't really aware you were looking, but there is one just down the road from me, I'll get a few pics of it today and a price if you'd like...
