Heres just some farting around i did yesterday with my intake manifold and some motor brackets. Im very happy in the results I got from the rustolem silver engine paint cant wait to mount that baby on the motor. I also had to modify the throttle cable brakes so it would fit on the new manifold. had to get rid of that big nasty hump in the last pic and beat that bitch flat to stretch it out.

Im gone be putting the drivers rocker on hopefully this weekend so I can finish up the drivers side cab sheet metal work (aka floor pan, rocker, cab support ) Then i can get my doors lined up so i can weld my quarter and tail pan in place so i can move on to the passengers side. And im also getting ready to get my motor back together so I can mate that to the tranie and bolt it in to the truck with my new polly engine mounts. I will Post pics as soon as i make some progress. I wanna have this thing ready to play in the snow next winter. thats all I can hope for

Ive been playing around with ideas all night cuz im just that bored but im trying to get some kind of stripe idea going on just a rough idea on paint i will lay it out nice on the truck but what are your thoughts on a hockey stripe i think im leaning towards the first truck but im open to suggestions :dunno:

meh.

If it were me I'd get all the body cove moldings (like on my K5) from LMC and do a two tone with a dark color on top and bottom and white or a light color in the middle.

I found a 79 k5 on car domain that was silver on top nd blue on bottom i like it so my question is answered on that subject. Now enough dreaming about paint and back to the slow build. I got brand new motor mounts today and within an hour of buying them they were in pieces

I like that paint choice too :D

I've been looking back through your posts and saw where you had a new tail pan... I've got to put a new one in mine too... along with new back floor sections... How long did that take you? Any suggestions?
