Yeah got there just in time for my uncle to pick it up on his way to our place... worked out good for him too, he had to pick up his Tilton hydro clutch parts for his 68. The packages arrived at the same time.

OK sweet, that is the same paint I have on the Maiden manifold right now, its held up well!

Looks real nice! I would never paint over your work. Our cat fluffy thinks the edlebrock box is the best thing to sleep ontop of!

I have decided not to change the cam or the heads "for now". Just going to use the perfomer get some headers and run it like that. That is the only way I will be able to have it in before the party. I just don`t have the money to spend on the rest right now.

Would a 1990 454 that came with fuel injection have a cam that would run a mechanical fuel pump?
I highly doubt it if the block isn't machined for one.
Every thing is there for one...just removed the block off plate and stuck a SB fuel rod in the block.
Not sure about the cam??
Get a helper, hold rod in block with finger and have helper rotate the crank and see if the rod follows the fuel pump lobe.
Will do! Is a SB and BB rod the same...
