Super Dave sent me a performer for the BB! All cleaned up and sexy!

I'll bring the choke plate in Aug!

glad it made it!

Yeah got there just in time for my uncle to pick it up on his way to our place... worked out good for him too, he had to pick up his Tilton hydro clutch parts for his 68. The packages arrived at the same time.

Thank again Dave!:waytogo::bow: It gives me some motivation to get going on it, now that our field work is done I should have some time to play with it!

Next I think is a pant job! It just has got to be Chevy orange! :thumb:

That is fresh paint on there...either blast it again, or scuff it real good with a 3M pad!

Oh no Dave your paint is sweet! I should have said the block and heads.
The manifold is staying just the way it is! :thumb:

Found the oil cooler Dean...
Awesome!:thumb: Have you been working in your garage? Get the blazer running?

OK sweet, that is the same paint I have on the Maiden manifold right now, its held up well!

Looks real nice! I would never paint over your work. Our cat fluffy thinks the edlebrock box is the best thing to sleep ontop of! :haha:

more points Dean!!!
More points is good!:thumb:

I have decided not to change the cam or the heads "for now". Just going to use the perfomer get some headers and run it like that. That is the only way I will be able to have it in before the party. I just don`t have the money to spend on the rest right now. :doah:

Good plan Dean....sometimes I wish I could do the KISS principal....it would save me a fokton of work and money!

Every thing is there for one...just removed the block off plate and stuck a SB fuel rod in the block.

Not sure about the cam??
Get a helper, hold rod in block with finger and have helper rotate the crank and see if the rod follows the fuel pump lobe.
